Submissions

The Armenite accepts submissions and we are always looking for well-written pieces, new or translated literature, photography, video, and pitches for great stories.

If you are trying to submit breaking news or a tip, click here.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

Stories, Articles, and Opinion
We accept well-written journalistic pieces about history, culture, politics, and society that have not been published elsewhere. We are interested in different perspectives, unique angles, and novel stories that are sharply written.

Prior to submitting, we ask that writers familiarize themselves with our style by reading stories on our site. All submissions must relate somehow to the Armenian world.

There is no guarantee that your piece will be published but whatever happens, we appreciate you thinking of us!

Literature
We accept the following types of literature:
– Original work by contemporary Armenian writers, poets, and playwrights about any subject.
– Non-Armenians writing about the Armenian world.
– Original translations of Armenian literature.

Please ensure that the work you have translated is not bound by copyright law.

Photography and Video
We accept original photography and video that relates to Armenians or Armenia and which has not been been published elsewhere.

Pitches
If you’ve got a great idea for a story, we’re happy to hear it.

Please email all inquiries to editorATthearmeniteDOTcom.

You can make as many submissions as you’d like and, although we may not be able to respond to you, please know that we’re thankful for your interest in being published by The Armenite.
