Josiah Gagosian’s great-great grandfather converted to Mormonism in the 19th century — but he wasn’t the only Armenian who did.

Josiah was born in Idaho, raised in Portland and went to college at the University of Oregon, where he received his B.A. in English and Art. He's currently working on a novel based on his Armenian family's conversion to Mormonism, as well as a body of mixed media art influenced by his Armenian and Mexican background.
