Josiah was born in Idaho, raised in Portland and went to college at the University of Oregon, where he received his B.A. in English and Art. He's currently working on a novel based on his Armenian family's conversion to Mormonism, as well as a body of mixed media art influenced by his Armenian and Mexican background.
