Editor’s note: The spirit pulsing through Yerevan right now is invigorating. Residents in Armenia’s capital have been protesting a hike in electricity rates for a week now and though the intensity of the #ElectricYerevan protests has resulted in more than 200 arrests, citizens keep showing up to voice their opposition. The Armenite’s Tatevik Vardanyan was able to capture the atmosphere Thursday night as protests over the price of power continue. Read more about the protests here.
